The Best Recipe for Perfect Soft-Boiled Eggs

Perfect soft-boiled eggs demand the right skill. Before settling on this technique, we cooked dozens and dozens of eggs. And it consistently produces eggs with tender whites and yolks.

 

Ingredients

  • 8L clean water
  • 1 to 6 large eggs

 

Instructions

 

In a medium-sized pot, bring water to a low boil. With a slotted spoon or strainer, gently lower eggs into the water (do not drop eggs into the water, as they might crack or break). Cook for 6 minutes, and after that remove eggs with a slotted spoon and serve.
